It is needed as, although staff do all they can to make sure that you are treated properly and promptly, things occasionally go wrong.
But. If you have a concern about your care or treatment, you should first talk to someone who is close to the cause of your concern – such as the doctor, nurse or receptionist. And in many cases the matter can be resolved straight away. If not, go and talk to PALS, and they will sort it out.
