According to NHS England data, 29.7 million appointments were delivered by GPs in England in February 2025. In other words ..

A staggering 2% of the population go to their GP every day”

Same Day Appointments

44.1% of appointments in February 2025 took place on the same day that they were booked.

Face to Face Appointments

64.3% of all appointments in February 2025 were carried out face to face.

Patient Attendance

89.9% of all appointments were attended in February 2025.

In other words, 10% of the public didn’t turn up for appointments they had made. This is poor, and a waste of public money.

It is not true:

1. You cannot see your GP
2. You cannot see your GP today
3. You cannot see your GP face to face.
